Kitesurfing Kap Verde

Program

We start each morning with yoga by the sea, followed by a large breakfast buffet. Afterwards, we head towards the beach, where we kitesurf together and you will receive coaching and tips to improve. In the evening, you can choose to participate in communal dining and possibly enjoy a sunset beer with the rest of the group.

When we are not doing yoga or kitesurfing, there are good opportunities to read a good book by the pool or take the few steps down to the beach to play a game of volleyball with the rest of us or simply enjoy the sand between our toes.

You will have an unforgettable week where every corner of your body will be stretched and strengthened - look forward to feeling the wind in your hair and getting salt spray on your skin under warm skies.

Sal is an extremely charming island, where there is ample opportunity to experience African culture. During the week, it will be possible to take part in a trip around the island, where you can e.g. can experience a mirage and see lemon sharks up close (own payment approx. 25 euros).

If you want to eat dinner with the group, we recommend booking the hotel's All Inclusive, where we have our own table every evening. The hotel has various a la carte restaurants that we visit during the week.

Hi Emely. Thanks for a good week. It was a really good trip you had arranged. Hats off to that. Always a pleasure to see you on the water and get good advice for further development. BrJens

Katrine, Turkey 2022

I have been to Ender and Emely's kite camp in Turkey and it is highly recommended. They are wonderful and welcoming people who are passionate about kite and yoga, and they really manage to pass on their passion. Turkey is a wonderful kite destination - cool spot, nice weather, good surf vibes - what else could you want;) Take one of their trips - it's totally worth it!

Kristine, Cape Verde & Turkey 2022

I have been on several of Emely's kite trips to both Cape Verde and Akyaka, and can highly recommend it - regardless of level! My first trip was Cape Verde, which may not be an obvious place for beginners, but it is possible to buy an instructor, so everything can be done, and I had some good, but somewhat challenging hours on the water. But it's great to have tried your hand at mother nature under different conditions than you're used to, and the beach and water are fantastic! Akyaka is absolutely perfect if you are still new, and in general Emely and Ender are extremely good at helping and coaching if you want to develop. It is of course not the same as 1 to 1 kite lessons, but I learned a lot from being away with them. In addition, my experience is that there is also a good social community where people are enormously helpful and more than happy to share experiences and good advice, so you feel in safe hands, regardless of whether you are traveling with someone you know or alone. I have tried both and have no regrets. In any case, you don't have to worry about leaving alone. Emely is incredibly sweet, welcoming and inclusive, and really good at creating community and togetherness in the group, including with restaurant visits and activities, so it's easy to "just jump in" if you're traveling alone. It is all voluntary, and there is also room for you to just relax or go exploring on your own. I have mainly joined to kite, but enjoy the combination with yoga, and as many others write, Emely is a really good instructor, and here too, fortunately, there is room for all levels - and it can be quite nice with a little yoga for a tired kite body.
Have been on three kite trips, and could easily come up with traveling again 🏄🏽‍♀️🤙🏽
