Emely’s journey with yoga began even before she was born – her mother practiced prenatal yoga, and throughout her childhood, yoga was a natural part of life. As a teenager, Emely became a regular participant in her mother’s classes, and in her early twenties, she truly felt the transformative power of yoga. She began a daily practice that included not just physical postures, but also pranayama (breathwork) and other deeper aspects of yoga.

In 2015, Emely completed her first yoga teacher training (200RYT) through Yoga Alliance. In 2023, she traveled to India to complete a 300-hour advanced training, achieving the highest international certification as a 500RYT yoga teacher. In 2025, she further deepened her expertise with a specialized 50-hour training in "Yin & Meridians." She is trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Ashtanga Yoga – and continues to study and explore the vast world of yoga.

For Emely, yoga is a lifelong journey and a path to continually becoming the best version of herself.

Since 2014, Emely has traveled the world to experience new cultures, find inspiration for her yoga lifestyle, and enjoy the beauty of nature. Having overcome a broken back and a torn ACL, she understands both the physical and mental challenges people can face. In her teaching, she emphasizes adapting each posture to the unique needs of every body and mind.

Alongside yoga, Emely has a background as a competitive swimmer and triathlete. In 2011, she discovered her passion for kitesurfing. From the very first moment, she knew it was something special. Since then, she has chased the wind across the globe and trained as an international kitesurf instructor, teaching both beginners and advanced riders with great experience.

Emely is a two-time Danish Champion (2020 and 2021) and a two-time Turkish Champion in freestyle kitesurfing, with several international top placements to her name. Through her travels, she has gained extensive knowledge about different weather patterns, wind conditions, and destinations worldwide.

Additionally, Emely has eight seasons of experience as a beach lifeguard and is certified as a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) instructor through the Danish Sailing Association. On windless days, you’ll often find her exploring on a SUP board, both in Denmark and abroad, where she also teaches.

Academically, Emely holds an AP Graduate Degree in Service, Hospitality and Tourism Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management – educations that support her professional approach to teaching, event planning, and travel experiences.

With a lifelong passion for movement, nature, and personal development, Emely now inspires hundreds of people through her teaching, retreats, and adventures around the world.
