Wakeboard Camp with Yoga at Hip-Notics in Antalya, Turkey
Try wakeboarding for the first time or learn new tricks from our skilled coaches at Europe’s best cable park.
Travel with Emely and Berk from OceanSoul on a unique wakeboarding adventure to the famous cable park paradise Hip-Notics in Antalya, Turkey.
Here, we combine wakeboarding, community, and unforgettable moments on and off the water at one of Europe’s best wakeboarding destinations — surrounded by sunshine, warm weather, and crystal-clear water.
Whether you are completely new to wakeboarding or eager to learn new tricks, you are more than welcome to join.
With two daily coaching sessions plus unlimited riding opportunities, you can progress at your own pace — whether your goal is simply getting up on the board for the first time, improving your edge control, or trying your first obstacles, kickers, passes, or air tricks.
At the camp, we are also joined by our local coach Berk, who has many years of experience within wakeboarding.
He knows the cable park inside out and will help you with everything from technique and safety to building the confidence to try new tricks on the water.
All activities are, of course, optional, and you decide the pace of your own experience. There is space for both intense progression and relaxing downtime by the water.
The day begins or ends with a yoga session specially designed for wakeboarders, helping us get the most out of our time on the water, recover faster, and prevent injuries.
Beyond wakeboarding, Hip-Notics also offers amazing facilities where you can relax in the sun, play games, and enjoy quality time with the other participants.
In addition to wakeboarding, we will also arrange small excursions and cozy activities in the area for those who wish to join — such as sunset hangouts, local experiences, and time to enjoy the Turkish summer lifestyle around Antalya.
Hip-Notics Cable Park is famous for its perfect setup for progression, warm water, and relaxed vibe, where both beginners and experienced riders quickly feel at home.

What is HipNotics?
Hip-Notics Cable Park is one of Europe’s most well-known wakeboard destinations and a fully dedicated watersports resort built specifically for wakeboarding. Beautifully located with mountain views and surrounded by an orange grove.
The park is built around several large, crystal-clear lakes filled with clean mountain water from the Taurus Mountains. The water is calm, warm, and constantly filtered, creating perfect conditions for wakeboarding throughout the entire season.
We stay in comfortable rooms located right by the cable, with views over the lakes.
Beyond the water facilities, Hip-Notics Cable Park offers a relaxed camp atmosphere with a pool area, chill zones, beach areas, café, restaurant, and social spaces where riders from all over the world come together.
What makes Hip-Notics truly special is that it is designed as a complete wakeboarding universe, with different cable systems and levels all in one place:
Main Lake (Lake 1)
The largest lake with a full 5-tower cable system. It features both obstacles and open water, making it ideal for beginners as well as riders working on flow, balance, and fundamental technique.
Big Lake (Lake 2)
A more advanced setup with multiple obstacles, longer lines, and higher speed. This lake is designed for experienced riders looking to develop tricks, air tricks, and more technical riding.
Small Lakes / Training Lakes (Lake 3 area)
Smaller 2-tower systems used for coaching, beginners, and focused training. The slower pace allows for repetition and progression, making it ideal for learning and skill development.
It is a place built for progression — where everything from your very first time on a wakeboard to advanced tricks can be trained in the same environment, without ever leaving the park.
Where are we staying?
On our wakeboarding camp, we stay directly at Hip-Notics Cable Park, meaning you are surrounded by water, wakeboarding energy, and community from the moment you wake up.
The accommodation at Hip-Notics is designed as a relaxed and modern wakeboard camp, with rooms located around the beautiful lakes and green areas. Riders from all over the world stay side by side in peaceful surroundings, just a few steps from the cable systems.
The rooms are bright, comfortable, and modernly furnished, with a focus on both functionality and relaxation after long days on the water. Most rooms offer lake views, a terrace or balcony, and access to cozy communal areas.
All rooms are equipped with modern facilities such as air conditioning, private bathroom, towels, mini fridge, safety box, and WiFi, ensuring you have everything you need during your stay.
On the camp grounds, you will also find a restaurant, café, chill areas, a pool area, and plenty of small spots to relax between sessions or enjoy the evenings with other participants.
What makes staying at Hip-Notics Cable Park truly special is the unique atmosphere. Here, wakeboarding is not just an activity — it becomes a lifestyle for a week, where you live close to the water, nature, and community.

Emely Freja
Emely Freja Petersen is the trip leader and coach on our wakeboarding camp in Turkey. Emely is Danish, but has been living in Turkey since 2019, where she runs her camps.
Since 2010, she has been living her dream around the world, working with and teaching kitesurfing, yoga, and other watersports.
She is originally a kitesurfer, but on windless days she discovered a new passion on the water – wakeboarding.
It was during this time she first experienced Hip-Notics Cable Park, which quickly felt like a true paradise for wakeboarding. The combination of crystal-clear water, perfect cable setups, and a unique camp atmosphere made a strong impression.
From her very first visit, it was clear that this was a place she had to return to – and share with others through a camp experience.
Emely has extensive international teaching experience and has worked for many years with kitesurfing, yoga, and stand-up paddling. She is a 2x Danish and 3x Turkish champion in kitesurfing (2019, 2020, 2021 & 2024) and holds multiple instructor certifications. She is passionate about creating safe, fun, and progressive learning environments on the water.
In 2015, she became a certified yoga teacher and has since completed her 500 RYT certification through Yoga Alliance. Yoga is a major part of her lifestyle, and she actively uses it to support both the physical and mental development of her students.

Further Information - Our FAQ
Weather
In the last week of April in Antalya, the weather is typically mild, sunny, and perfect for outdoor activities such as wakeboarding at Hip-Notics Cable Park. Daytime temperatures are usually around 20–23°C, while evenings are cooler at approximately 10–14°C. This means the days feel warm and comfortable, but you may need a light sweater or hoodie once the sun goes down. There are many hours of sunshine and generally dry weather. When the sun is out, it can feel quite strong, so UV protection is important. **What to wear:** For wakeboarding and time by the lakes, swimwear, shorts, and a light t-shirt or rashguard are ideal. Many riders also wear a neoprene top or shorty wetsuit on slightly cooler days or in the mornings. When you are off the water, light and breathable clothing is perfect during the day – such as shorts, dresses, tank tops, and sandals. In the evenings, it is nice to have a light sweatshirt, hoodie, or thin jacket.
Yoga
Yoga is fantastic for wakeboarders! It helps the body recover faster and prepares both body and mind for many great hours on the water. Participation in the yoga classes is completely optional. The sessions are designed so that both complete beginners and experienced practitioners can join. Everything is guided and adapted so that everyone gets something valuable out of it. Yoga is not a competition – you simply show up as you are. The classes are primarily based on Hatha yoga, but also include elements of Yin and Vinyasa yoga. The yoga sessions take place outdoors, where we breathe in the fresh air and connect with the elements around us.
Who travels with us?
Wakeboarding, the water, and camp life bring people together across age, background, profession, and nationality. Every year, many different people choose to join our camps to share the experience on the water and within the community. On our wakeboarding camps, a very special sense of connection quickly forms. People share laughter, progression, challenges, and great moments both on and off the water – and often, friendships continue long after the camp has ended. We have a great mix of both men and women on our camps, and participants range widely in age and experience – from complete beginners to more experienced wakeboarders. But once you are on the water, it is not about age or background – it is about the joy of riding, learning, and being part of the community. All levels are welcome, and the camp is built around your own pace. You take part in what you feel like, with space for both intense progression and relaxed days by the lake. Our goal is to create the best possible experience for you – both on and off the water – in a safe, motivating, and inclusive environment. We look forward to welcoming you into the community at Hip-Notics Cable Park.
